My recent excursion

While the excitement of the renovations continue (more photos soon), that fades away compared to the joy of spending 9 glorious days in Canada with my wonderful fiancee Rebecca. On top of getting lots of wedding planning done we enjoyed fantastic Sushi, beautiful sunsets, the stunning Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island and the finest company of close friends and family.

The highlight was being able to hold Rebecca and speak to her without having to dial a number. Needless to say the 2:30 am farewell at the airport was not fun, but the next time we meet it will be for good. No more good byes! Yay

I love you Rebecca.

Thanks Lauren.
It has got the point of wanting the days (134) to fly by but realising that means we have to get lots of things done quick.

It was grouse to see and your fella last week too.

I enjoyed your visit too!

I think there's a possibility that the family likes you. ;)

hey Adrian, i wouldn't usually say this but i have a rough idea what it feels like looking forward to a day when good-byes are no longer necessary. Let me tell you that that day is just as glorious as you imagine. I don't imagine i will ever get sick of sharing my bed every night with the woman i love and the mutual encouragement of doing life together. Many people may scoff at these high ideals of marriage and think we are both deluded. But i am not suggesting marriage is perfect, just as no human is perfect, but we must rejoice in what is good and what God has done and is doing in your midst! Praise be to God as he brings you one day closer to togetherness without good-byes. God bless brother.
