On the move again

Things have been quiet on the building front for the last 3 weeks. However, today the gyp-rockers/plasterers/drywallers arrived and things are on the move again.

Considering the poor health of the dining room ceiling, it was decided it should come down, and it did, along with a pile of dirt. Not to worry, the job is forward.

Will it be done by October 21 when my beloved and I return from Canada?

either that or you'll have a whole new ball of wax to deal with..how would you like a nice big ball of wax sent to you for a wedding present? Just joking! ;)

Good to have it replaced before it comes down in the middle of dinner one day!

It does look like a bit of a mess at the present time...but I'm sure that they will get it done in time. Hopefully it will be done even before you leave for Canada, so you'll know what to expect upon your return with your beloved!

Why change a thing? It looks cosy enough as it is. I'm sure if you put a sheet over the stack of insulation it will serve as a good mattress. Never mind the prickles.

Well Chelsea, when you and Tom come visit, you two can sleep on the insulation.

Don't worry, we will put fresh flowers in the room for you.

Aren't there two piles on the photo? Looks like enough to go 'round.

Miss you guys! Hope we can arrange a visit at some stage... even if it means sleeping on fibreglass.

Chels, we'd let you sleep on a bed! But maybe not Tom...

If it isn't completed by the time we visit, Dad will fix it for you. Looks like renovations are happening and I'm sure all will be done in time or our offer stands.
